Continental cycling team Adria Mobil has been promoted by Slovenian cycling federation as the best Slovenian team for the second year in a row.
Even though Marko Kump has left the team,
the goals for 2011 stay the same for national events and are even
higher for foreign races. The starting point for reaching set goals
is very good. We are ranked as seventh among Continental teams
on the International Cycling Union’s (UCI) rankings before the
start of the season. The team of eleven proven riders is capable
of reaching even higher at the end of the season.
I wish cyclists and trainers a great start of the season, similar
to the last year’s. Winter part of training has been carried out
perfectly, first races are ahead us.
All the victories of our cyclists in all categories are common
victories to our sponsors and donors, who have been supporting
us in these financially hard times. I wish to thank the general
sponsor of Novo mesto cycling team, the company Adria Mobil,
and all the others, who are making possible for us to realize our
programs in all categories.
