Zadnji dan v Turčiji je smola odnesla dober rezultat

Kolesarji Adrie Mobil so zaključili štiridnevno dirko prve kategorije v Antaliji. V zaključku četrte etape so zaradi padcev konkurentov ostali brez možnosti še pred ciljnim šprintom, ki ga je dobil Tim Merlier.

In the battle for GC Max Steadman managed to hold one second of advantage from Kenneth van Rooy. Our best place rider was Jani Brajkovic on 14. place.

»The last stage was very fast and interesting, on intermediate sprints cyclists fought for bonus seconds so the pace was very high the whole day. We raced actively, guys were in the mix with every breakaway. The finish was very dangerous because of wet roads, there were several crashes and our riders, fortunately, did not crash, but they were caught behind and could not contest the sprint,« our DS Branko Filip said about the last day.

He was pleased with what the team showed in the last four days in Turkey: »I am satisfied with how we raced, we are in good shape, we hoped for a bit more in the general classification, but we were not far. I am happy that our guys are racing aggressively, not just waiting for fort he sprints. We race like a team so I can look to the next races with optimism.«

We will continue our season in March in Istria.
