Adria Mobil Cycling ambitiously in 2018 season

Aljaž Jarc, one of the newcomers in the red & white jersey of Adria Mobil Cycling, was already racing for the team in the junior categories and is now stepping up to the team’s continental squad. This is where the learning curve really starts, but he’ll have experienced riders like Radoslav Rogina, Jure Golčer and Grega Gazvoda close to him, so he’ll get insights that he needs to race on the biggest events some day in the future.
Saad Alsaadi is however a brand new name in Adria Mobil’s team; a native Bahraini transferred from also continental team VIP Bikes. 185 cm high cyclist is also on the start of his professional career, and shares team’s high ambitions.
Team riders for 2018 season are also Jon Božič, Gašper Katrašnik, Žiga Horvat, Žiga Grošelj, Dušan Rajović & Gorazd Per. Team will be lead by Sport Director Srečko Glivar.
2018 will be a very special season for Jure Golčar, a cyclists who started his racing career on a mountain bike and later won Tour of Slovenia and represented Slovenia on multiple championships. 40-year old cyclist from Maribor announced that he’ll retire from professional cycling after the end of the season.
Continental team Adria Mobil Cycling continues its cooperation with Specialized Bicycles; team riders will race on the new Tarmac with Campagnolo components & wheels.
Quotes from new riders on the team:
Aljaž Jarc: “I became member of the elite continental team Adria Mobil with start of new year and I’m very happy about it. We already had first training camp back in November and we caught on right away. Team has riders of different ages, myself being the youngest on the squad, so I can take a lot of knowledge from my teammates. You can feel a lot of motivation ahead of the new team and I can’t wait that we go on the first races. For now I’ll help my team and gain new experiences form the races. There will be a lot of new races for me in 2018, but I’m not afraid of new challenges.”
Saad Alsaadi: “My ambition is to ride for one of the big professional teams and Adria Mobil is a great step on the way there. It's a very good team that will help me to become Bahrain's first fully professional road cyclist and represent my country on the biggest events. I'll help my new team to go high on rankings and get the best possible results. It's going to be an interesting year for me for sure!”
