Rajović fifth on the start of the Spring Trophy
Istrian Spring Trophy started with the short prologue on the Umag’s main walkway. Nils Eekhoff was fastest on the two kilometers long route, he took the victory with the time of two minutes and five tenths. Adria Mobil’s best rider was Dušan Rajović in fifth.

Prologue was short, but very attractive due to the location and high speeds. Adria Mobil’s riders were all close behind the fastest and they didn’t lost too much time. But the real battle is only starting, there are three more stages ahead, all with lots of climbing.

Dušan Rajović: “I’m very motivated after the series of podium finishes on the first races of the season, and I want to continue in this manner. I felt good and I gave everything I had, on the end that was good enough for fifth place. I was only a second behind the winner, which is a good indicator that I can battle with the best. I’m very motivated ahead of the next races and we all have high hopes.”

Srečko Glivar, sports director: “I’m very happy with what I had seen today. Rajović was just behind the podium finish. There are many equally fast cyclists on the race and the battle for the victory will be harsh. We will know who will fight for the overall victory after tomorrow’s stage, I hope Adria Mobil will be among them.”

Second stage is 161 km long, is starts in Poreč and finishes in Labin.
