Next race could be the hardest of the season

Tour of Croatia will take us across all parts of our Southern neighbor, but the most interesting stages will take place on the coast, even some of the hardest climbs will be there. Let us mention mountain finish of the third stage to Saint Jure and fifth stage with climb to Učka Mountain. Cyclists of our team are familiar with these roads, of course no more than local Radoslav Rogina: “I think this is the hardest race that we’ll race in this season… Stages are very long and very hard. A lot will be decided on the third stage with finish on Saint Jure, we’ll get confirmation of the winner after fifth stage. I personally am prepared almost as I wanted, but only the race will show if this is enough. This is a home race for me and I’m full of motivation, but I’m afraid to guess anything about results.”
Team Adria Mobil will have Rogina and following riders on the race: Jani Brajkovič, Žiga Horvat, Jon Božič, Gregor Gazvoda, Jure Golčer and Gorazd Per.
Dušan Rajović was also planned for the race, but the change came in last moment. Sports director Srečko Glivar explains: “Dušan Rajović unfortunately injured on one of the last trainings before traveling to Croatia. Žiga Horvat will step in as his replacement. The fact that Dušan will not race will have a big influence on the goals of our team, we now don’t have the cyclists that could be on pair with the best sprinters on the race. We’re now left with the fight for best possible overall results. I expect the most from Radoslav Rogina, Jure Golčer and Jani Brajkovič.”
Competition on the race is very strong, including three World Tour teams: Astana Pro Team, Trek-Segafredo and Bahrain-Merida. There will be of course also bunch of Pro-Continental teams on the race.
