Rogina defended his position on another hard stage
Pace of the Tour of Croatia is not easing down, today’s stage was again very hard – with two climbs to Učka mountain. Jure Golčer was very active in the first part of the day, but Radoslav Rogina was once again our fastest rider in the finish area.

Fifth stage took riders to Učka mountain – first from one side, then from the other. Two brutal climbs again did the selection, but before that we had a group of 15 riders that escaped right from the start. Among them was also Jure Golčer. Jure couldn't keep the pace all the way to the end, so our best cyclist today was again Rogina, he crossed the finish line just under a minute behind the winner.

Another very active day for Adria Mobil Cycling, but without a big reward on the end… but tomorrow is another day!

Jure Golčer: “Stage was very hot and very hard. I managed to join the breakaway group, but I lost strength four kilometers before the finish and I couldn’t fight for the victory.”

Radoslav Rogina: “I agree with Jure, it really was a very hard stage. I didn’t felt best, so I’m happy that I had kept my position in the overall standings.”

Race will arrive to Zagreb tomorrow for the final battle of 2018 Tour of Croatia.
