Nothing new in the East
Winner of the second stage of the Tour of Qinghai Lake was also decided after a sprint finish. Australian Brenton Jones was fastest this time around and is now also in the overall lead. Adria Mobil’s best cyclists was again Dušan Rajović.

115 kilometers long stage on the streets of Xining didn’t prepared any big surprises. Some cyclists did create a breakaway, but they were not very successful at it. All best teams on the race were in control of the stage and they made sure their sprinters will be in the right position on the end.

Adria Mobil again took the lead in the last kilometers and set the high pace. Team created a good train for the sprint leader, but success again went to others. Dušan Rajović was 10th.

Adria’s best cyclists in the overall rankings is Jon Božič in 10th place.

But surly we’ll get a new leader after third stage, first hard stage is ahead. During the stage we will also climb to 3.820 meters high mountain pass.
