Adria Mobil Cycling on team camp in Turkey
Continental team Adria Mobil Cycling is on the winter training camp in Turkey. Team camp in Antalya is under the charge of the sports director Branko Filip, who has deep knowledge of the conditions and the area in the south of Europe, as he was in charge of the Turkish team Torku Sekerspor for several years. Refreshed team will have its first race on 9th February – Grand Prix Gazipasa (1.2) – before they go to Tour of Antalya.

Branko Filip send a report from Turkey: “I choose Antalya for our winter base as I have lots of positive experience from the previous seasons when I was leading Turkish professional squad. Terrain in Antalya is very diverse and enables training of all types. I believe change of surroundings will also benefit the team. We do have some problems with the rain, as there is unusually a lot of it, but we’re watching the forecast all the time and adjust our plans. We’ll also do training riders on the roads that will host first stages of Tour of Antalya, the race that we will race if February. Race is getting stronger and stronger, and the organization is on the highest level.
Training in December went according to plan and I’m very happy with the current form. We’re planning more long climbs and endurance trainings in Antalya, the area is perfect for this. We also have a company of Adria’s ex member Kristijan Đurasek, a member of the World Tour team UAE Team Emirates.”
