Ahead of double racing program on Rhodes
Team Adria Mobil Cycling had outstanding start of the season – with Radoslav Rogina’s 7th place overall on Tour of Antalya, Dušan Rajović’s 2nd place on stage 1 of the same race and Marko Kump’s victory on GP Slovenian Istria. Now it’s time for International Rhodes Grand Prix and International Tour of Rhodes.

Part of the team is staying in the south of Europe. Radoslav Rogina, Dušan Rajović, Aljaž Jarc, Žiga Horvat and Gorazd Per will race on two second category races. International Rhodes Grand Prix will take place this Sunday, Tour of Rhodes will follow next Friday-Sunday. History of this race dates back to 1996, but after the 2003 the race was cancelled. Race was organized again in 2017.

Lots of big names came to this race, including Fabian Cacellara, winner of 2001 and 2002 edition.

Sports director Branko Filip said this before the first of two races: “Our leader for races in Greece is Radoslav Rogina, but we also expect a lot from Dušan Rajović – in sprints of course. But let’s don’t forget about our younger riders, they are very talented and can surprise.”
