Katrašnik attacked, but no luck for him today
2015 junior world champion Felix Gall from Austria (Development Team Sunweb) is the winner of the second stage of Istrian Spring Trophy. He was the fastest on the 361 meters high Oprtalj, he also took the lead in the overall standings. Adria Mobil’s best cyclist was Radoslav Rogina in 15th place.

Team Adria Mobil Cycling had a clear goal for today’s stage – to make the race as hard as possible. We’re attacking all the time, until Gašper Katrašnik managed to jump and create a breakaway with Swiss Claudio Imhof (Akros - Thömus). But that situation didn’t work for Elkov - Author Cycling Team, so they took the lead and dictated harsh pace. The peloton fell apart in several small groups and caught the leading duo.

Radoslav Rogina was Adria Mobil’s only cyclist in the first group, but he couldn’t keep the pace with the best and was 15th. Felix Gall is surly an overall winner of the race, it’s very unlikely that we’ll see changes on the top after the last stage.
