Without a real fight for victory in Umag
Last stage of the 16th Istrian Spring Trophy finished with the sprint in Umag, with Andrea Guardini (Bardiani – CSF) taking the stage. Adria Mobil’s cyclists had some bad luck today as Marko Kump got a mechanical and couldn’t fight for the top positions.

Austrian Felix Gall (Development Team Sunweb) didn’t had big problems in the overall standings, he easily defended his lead today. In fact nobody really challenged him, the whole day was about the stage victory.
Our riders were again very active and wanted to bring a small group to Umag. They didn’t succeed at it and we saw a sprint of the whole peloton. Team took Marko Kump to a good position in the last kilometer, but he had problems with his bike and the battle for the very top was finished. He’s 18th.

Adria Mobil’s highest ranked cyclist in the overall standings is Radoslav Rogina in 15th place.
