Gašper Katrašnik takes national title in criterium
Gašper Katrašnik won in the elite race, David Gregorič won in younger of the junior categories – which means two crit titles for Adria Mobil. Race took place on the streets of Kranj, and both titles were won thanks to good tactics and team unity. Boštjan Murn took second in among older juniors.

Adria Mobil team is having a great weekend in Gorenjska. After David Per won in Šenčur yesterday we took another victory today. Gašper Katrašnik is the new crit champ! Team coach Branko Filip: “Our plan was to make the race hard, that is why I’ve send our boys in the front in the very beginning of the race. They were on the very sharp pace and group shrink quickly. Gašper Katrašnik and Dušan Rajović were taking points on the sprint and eventually took first and second.”

New national champion Gašper Katrašnik: “This criterium victory in Kranj means a lot to me. I was second in 2017, at the time just behind Dušan Rajović. This time around we changed places. I have to thank my team, with riders like that is everything easier. I believe that three or four of our riders could win today, this is why I’m so thankful to them for the support in front of the home crowd.”

Last day of the cycling festival in Kranj is reserved for the traditional Grand Prix Kranj, this year in its 51st edition. 20 teams from eight countries will be on the start.
