3rd stage was neutralized due to strong winds
Third chapter of CRO Race was neutralized after 15 kilometers of racing. The reason – strong bora winds that made racing conditions impossible.

Couple of riders escaped quickly after the start of the stage and managed to create a lead of two minutes and 20 seconds. After that the weather conditions turned for the worse and organizers had to stop the race. More than a few cyclists protested about the race conditions. Race officials stopped the race and instructed team to bring riders with cars to Baška Voda. 47 kilometers were from there to finish in Makarska, and under the better conditions we saw a short, but fierce race.

Radoslav Rogina was Adria Mobil’s best riders of the day; he managed to keep the contact with the leaders and crossed the finish line in the time of the winner, in 12th place. Astana’s Yevgeniy Gidich won the race.

Sports director Branko Filip: “Today’s stage was very stressful – for us and for the cyclists. After the brake we got a very intense fight for the stage victory. Climb before the end of the stage made the first big selection on the race. Radoslav Rogina was our best cyclists today and is also the only one that stayed in the contest for the overall standings. The pace on that climb was just too hard for Marko Kump.”
