Radoslav Rogina 10th after queen stage

Fifth stage from Rabac to Platak was surly decisive for the overall standing. It had two long climbs and only the strongest stayed with the leaders, first selection was already done on Učka. Last climb was even harder with about thousand altitude meters of climbing.
We asked our Sports Director Branko Filip to comment on the performance of Rogina and also Jani Brajkovič: “Maybe we were really aiming for a better result of Rogina, but the competition on the race is strong and we have nothing to blame oneself. Most of our riders had a ‘day off’ today, except for Jani Brajkovič who was helping Radoslav. Jani is not at 100%, he’s feeling pain in the ribs and has problems with breathing since that crash in Zadar earlier in the race. One more stage is ahead of us – one that should finish with the sprint. Finish is technically hard and we’ll see how will the race develop. We’re very good at sprints and we’ll of course seek another good result. We’re ready and motivated, we’ve also shown that we can do it.”
CRO Race will finish tomorrow in Zagreb.
