Adria Mobil on the race of legends

First category race starts on Thursday – with two stages! Adria Mobil will not start the race with the complete team, since Tomaž Nose and Primož Roglič are not jet racing. Tomaž is coming back from December injury, while Primož was a little bit too optimistic about his recovery after the crash on the last race in Croatia. Radoslav Rogina will lead the team, his goal is to improve last year’s 14th place overall – a task that is anything but easy. Raining race champion Diego Ulissi of team Lampre-Merida will be there, but also Cannondale, Team Sky and some other top teams.
Team manager Boštjan Mervar: “Top ten finish overall would be a great result for us, same goes for top three finish in the team rankings. For the overall standings we expect the most from Rogina, while Mugerli can do great in the individual stages.”
Adria Mobil had a lot of success on this race in the past. Marko Kump won stage four in 2010, which is team’s best result. Robert Kišerlovski holds team’s record for overall standings, he was twelfth in 2008.
Adria Mobil’s riders for the race: Radoslav Rogina, Matej Mugerli, Klemen Štimulak, Kristijan Fajt, Domen Novak, David Per, Bruno Maltar and Aljaž Hočevar.
