Brajkovic finished in the front group on Stage 3

In the Queen Stage of Tour of Antalya Jani Brajkovic fought well on the final climb and finished 8 seconds behing winner Riccardo Zoidl. 

In Turkey, our riders were facing the hardest stage with a tough climb to the finish line. Our guys did the job and put Brajkovic in the good position before the climb, Jani managed to stick with the first group, but could not follow the attack of Riccardo Zoidl in the end and he finished on 19th place, 8 seconds behind the winner.

"Our guys were great as a team today, they did everything I wanted in the first part and kept Jani out of trouble. Then on the climb he said he felt good, but the climb really did not suit him, so I guess we can be happy with what we got. Anyway, his main goals are coming in June, so if he says he is feeling okay than that is good enough for us," said DS Branko Filip after the stage.

Jani was short in his summary of the last climb: "I was feeling okay, I did not have any trouble staying with the front group, but then it finished with a sprint and that is something that does not suit me. I was feeling okay and because of that I can be optimistic for the upcoming races." 

Tour of Antalya will finish with mostly flat Stage 4, where we will once again hope for great result from Marko Kump.
