Another great ride by Kump in Umag

Adria Mobil Cycling continued its 2020 season with the first race in Istria. At GP Umag (1.2 UCI) we were once again close to victory, as Marko Kump finished in the second place.

Cycling spring in Istria is in full swing, GP Umag was just the first of many races this month in Istria. We had high hopes for Marko Kump in the sprint and »Dolenjska arrow« did not disappoint. He finished 2nd, only behind Olav Kooij from Jumbo Visma Development Team.

»Race in Umag was very similar than in last years, the group controlled the breakaway, it was very nervous with lots of crashes, but fortunately this time all of our riders finished safely in the bunch. The win was decided in the sprint and Marko finished second, which was a good result for us,« Branko Filip, our DS, said after the race.

Adria Mobil Cycling will be racing once again on Sunday in Poreč, where another one day race awaits our riders.
