Matej Mugerli climbs to 9th position
Circuit des Ardennes continued today with the second, 168 km long stage, won by Danish rider Troels Vinther. He and Polish rider Lukasz Wisniowski had a 25 second gap ahead of the peloton, in which Adria Mobil had 4 riders.

Today’s mountain stage had 5 mountain finishes, so it really deserves the title “king’s stage”. All of Adria Mobil’s best riders finished the race in the group of 53 riders that came across the finish line with the 25 seconds gap behind the leading duo. With just one more day left Adria has 4 riders contesting for the podium finish. Team seats in fourth on the team standings.

Matej Mugerli: “Štimulak and I were very active in the last 50 kilometers, for a while we were also in the lead with other riders. We created a lead of a minute and a half, but that was not enough. It was a very hard stage with to much tactical maneuvers and we just didn’t get the outcome we wanted.”
