98th edition of Rund um Köln (UCI 1.1)

98th edition of Rund um Köln (UCI 1.1)
Adria Mobil’s elite team is in Germany, getting ready for the Monday’s race in Cologne, one of the country’s biggest road races. Rund um Köln is a race with amazing tradition, this year the city will host 98th edition. First race was held in 1908, and the race was organized even in the time of Second World War.

Team Adria Mobil Cycling will race without Tomaž Nose, he is on the long recovery, and also without Kristjan Fajt. He crashed on the last race in France and is resting for a couple of days. The team is still very strong – according to the organizer’s estimations fourth strongest among the 25 teams. Favorite for the race is Dutch rider Moreno Hofland, Matej Mugerli and Radoslav Rogina are also very high among the favorites. Adria’s Domen Novak will be the youngest rider on the start, he will be 18 years and 283 days old on Monday. Slovenians never won this race, except for the Peter Wrolich with non-Slovenian passport that won the race in 2002.
Is now time to break that tradition?

Race will go live on Monday from 15:00:
