TILEN FINKŠT THIRTEENTH IN UMAG
The road cycling season started yesterday in Umag, Croatia. The 13th edition of the UMAG Classic (1.2) was won by Slovak Matthias Schwarzbacher (UAE Development Team), second was Italian Filippo Fortin (Team Solution Tech - Vini Fantini), third was Polish Tobiasz Pawlak (Voster ATS Team), and in 13th place was our best Tilen Finkšt (all within the winner's time). Results: https://www.procyclingstats.com/.../umag-classic/2025/result We have very fond memories of this race, as the first three editions were won by our cyclists, Aljaž Hočevar (2013), Matej Mugerli (2014) and Marko Kump (2015). On Sunday, March 9, another race in Croatian Istria follows, the 36th Poreč Trophy.
