Mr. 100% took the role of a team leader
58th edition of Tour of Slovakia finished with sprint finish in Bratislava. Oleksandr Polivoda of Ukraine won the race, just 10 seconds behind him was Kristjan Fajt (Adria Mobil Cycling).

Kristjan Fajt is one of the main and most reliable assistants in the Adria Mobil team, he was involved in all the most important results of the last years. This time he had a chance to take charge and get a top result. He did that very good and took a second place overall in a very harsh competition. For an even better result he would need harder track with more selection. After the race he told Sportal: “I’m happy with second place, but I regret the lost opportunity. This time I was ready to win. I’m also happy that the team in working great and we are in better form with the each day closer to the Tour of Slovenia.” Last stage of the race was decided in the big group finish, Matej Mugerli was fifth. Team Adria Mobil Cycling won the team standings.

It’s obvious that the team is very well prepared for the upcoming Tour of Slovenia, and the riders can stress enough how well are they working together. Race in Slovakia was one of the last big tests ahead of national stage race; Adria Mobil will defend a victory from 2013 season there. Riders will be challenged by very strong competition, and the only way to beat stronger competition (at least this is what papers show) is to work together, self-sacrifice and fighting spirits.
