Adria Mobil 27th in the World

Team time trial is a very specific discipline, which takes a lot of input in terms of time and energy. It’s extremely hard to organize a training ride, since the speeds are very high and are often higher of those legally allowed. Riders are holding at the aero handlebars at full speeds, and they don’t have brake levers there, which makes the training even harder and more dangerous.
Adria Mobil was on every team time trial race on the champs, and this year the team repeated the result from 2012. Kristjan Fajt was on all three championships, this is what he said after the race: “Team time trial is behind us… We were racing as a team and everybody gave his maximum. Our team leader Radoslav Rogina was a little bit ill and he couldn’t perform at his best. Young Bruno Maltar also suffered on the race, so there were only four of us left towards the end. The course was very hilly and I personally liked it, but you have to be in perfect form for all the changes in pace. I’m happy with how I ride and I will try to keep it till the road race next week.”

World Championships go on with the U23 time trial, the race will start today at 2pm. David Per from Adria Mobil will represent Slovenia.
David Per: “I was on the course and I must say that I like it, it’s not just one big straight. Road goes slightly up or down for most of the time and it finishes with a slight uphill. I don’t have big expectations from this race, since you have to have a very specific training for the race like this.”
