Adria Mobil almost complete

Adria Mobil almost complete
Latest addition to the Adria Mobil Cycling team is Josip Rumac, 20-years old rider from Croatia, one of the country’s greatest talents. He came in the spotlight after the 2013 world championships, where he took bronze in the junior category. This year he was riding for Czech team Etixx, and he was also chosen for the young squad of Pro Tour team Omega Pharma – Quick Step.

Cooperation between Slovenia and Croatia is excellent in the field of cycling. Zagreb was a host city of Tour de Slovenia twice. Result of excellent cooperation is also an international race Croatia-Slovenia. Adria Mobil is also helping Vladimir Miholjevič at the upcoming new race Tour of Croatia. Signing with a young talented rider from Rijeka is the latest step in the successful partnership. Slovenia is almost a traditional stop for Croatian riders on their way to professional teams. Some of them were also growing in Adria Mobil: Vladimir Miholjevič, Kristjan Đurasek and Robert Kišerlovski.

Josip Rumac: “I happily accepted Adria Mobil’s offer, for me this feels like racing at home. It is exceptionally well organized team, with riders that can teach me a lot. I expect a good racing program from team manager Boštjan Mervar, a program that warrant my signing. I can’t wait for the first training rides, I’m very motivated for the next season. I would like to thank Adria Mobil’s management for warm welcome and I hope I will achieve my dreams and warrant trust that the team has in me.”

Adria Mobil’s squad for the 2015 season is now almost complete, 9 riders had signed: Marko Kump, Radoslav Rogina, Primož Roglič, Klemen Štimulak, David Per, Domen Novak, Kristjan Fajt  Josip Rumac and Jon Božič. Only one more place is available and it will be hard to find the right candidate.
