Primož Roglič has started and finished with the podium
Al Zubarah fortress in Qatar was the last stop for the riders on the stage race named after with the same name. Last stage didn’t change the top in the overall standings. Azzedine Lagab of Algeria won ahead of Adria Mobil’s Kristjan Fajt and Martin Weiss of Austria. Yousef Mohamed Mirza Bahihammad of UAE won second stage in a row. Primož Roglič was again excellent – today he was second!

Adria Mobil Cycling team successfully finished the Tour of Al Zubarah – the team had a rider in the top three on every stage. Kristjan Fajt was third last year, this year he was even better – second! David Per took the jersey of the best Under 23 rider. The team won the team rankings. Rider will travel back to Slovenia tomorrow and continue with their trainings on the Slovenian coast.

Kristjan Fajt: “I have to admit that I didn’t expect good results on the race, on the end I was even close to overall victory. Due to the problems with a bike I lost couple of seconds in the prologue, and I got another 10 seconds penalty on the first stage because of my own stupid mistake. Team was working like a charm and we did our best, had a good training and had fun in the nice weather. Special praise goes to Per for the victory in the best young rider competition and good racing in general; for sure we can expect more of him in the future. And now we go back home for the Christmas holidays!”
