Primož Roglič best climber on Coppi e Bartali
Coppi e Bartali stage race (UCI 2.1 category) ended today with the mountain finish on Roccapelago. Louis Meintjen from South Africa was fastest in the dramatic finish; he was two seconds faster than Ben Swift and also took the overall victory. Adria Mobil Cycling riders played a visible role on this hard race.

“After mechanical problems and Marko Kump’s illness we are happy with the race’s outcome. Primož Roglič was in the escape for the big part of the last stage and took a lot of points for the mountains classifications and won the green jersey of the best climber on the race. Domen Novak was 19th overall and second among juniors, which is a big achievement for him,” said team manager Boštjan Mervar after the race.

Team was facing problems in the first part of the race, which stopped the team to get even higher. Domen Novak and Primož Roglič finished the race in the top 20. Primož also won the best climber jersey, the second one for team Adria Mobil (Rober Kišerlovski took it couple of years ago). Adria Mobil finished the race in 8th place in the team rankings.
