Jani Brajkovič on the start of GP Adria Mobil
We are less than 24 hours away of the award ceremonies for the first ever Grand Prix Adria Mobil, and by now most of the teams are already on the stage in Novo mesto. Great news comes from the camp of Slovenian national team, after Jani Brajkovič confirmed that he will be on the race. Team Adria Mobil will race without Klemen Štimulak, who is ill.

Everything is set for the new Slovenian road racing classic. Adria Mobil Cycling riders are not under pressure of the race on the home roads, but they are aware of the harsh battle that is ahead of them. David Per said: “Race in front of the home crowds is always something special for the athlete. Local fans give you additional energy and raise your motivation. Race will be held on the roads that I know very well and I can’t wait for race to start.”

Team manager Boštjan Mervar was already without Radoslav Rogina, who crashed earlier in the season, now he is also without Klemen Štimulak, who got ill just before the race. Mervar said: “I’m sure that the team will present it self in the best possible way on the home terrain and that everybody will give everything he has got. I regret that I will not be with them on the road tomorrow due to my own illness, but at the same time I look forward to watch the live broadcast of the race.”

Everybody is welcomed on the start of the race, that will take place at 12:30 in front of Adria Mobil building on Straška road 50 (Straška cesta 50 for your GPS device) and on Main square (Glavni trg) in Novo mesto; the program there starts at 14:00. Riders will be there for the first time at 15:00, after that they will do couple of laps more.

Live broadcast of the race will take place on the Adria Mobil Cycling’s website:
