Primož Roglič second on Tour of Croatia

Tour of Croatia had five stages that lead the riders from Makarska to Zagreb. Every stage was a battle, mostly between Adria Mobil Cycling and CCC Sprandi Polkowice. Polish team was better this time, but Adria also travels back home with some nice results. Team manager Boštjan Mervar gave a final verdict of the race: “Despite everything I’m happy with the results, we had high goals and we reached them. Marko Kump took a stage victory and was in the leader’s jersey for a day. Primož Roglič had lots of bad luck, but he finished in excellent second place. We were missing Klemen Štimulak on this race, he got ill and finished with the race after first stage. I have to admit that CCC is a high quality team, they will race Giro d’Italia this year.”
Riders will now have a week off. On Sunday they will travel to Baku for the next big race Tour d’Azerbaijan; like Tour of Croatia, this race will be also live on Eurosport.
