Adria is going for victory in Azerbaijan
Adria Mobil Cycling’s riders are ahead of new challenge – tomorrow is the first day on the first category race Tour d'Azerbaijan. Team is in Baku and highly motivated before the first stage – 153 long stage from Baku to Sumqayit. Website Pro Cycling Stats published a list of favorites – Primož Roglič is on the top of the list, ahead of Chris Horner.

First reports from Baku:
Team manager Boštjan Mervar: “We have a strong team in Azerbaijan: Marko Kump, Primož Roglič, Radoslav Rogina, Kristjan Fajt, Klemen Štimulak & Josip Rumac. We expect similar results like last year, a stage victory and overall finish among top three. Of course I expect most from Marko Kump and Primož Roglič, but Radoslav Rogina is also getting back in the right form. I only ask for little bit of sports luck, with it we will have no problems with the results.”

Team captain Radoslav Rogina: “Race has easier profile as 2014 edition, it has no mountain finishes. We will face harsh winds, so I think we will have to first focus on the position for the sprint, then we will see what happens. We of course aim for the victory!”

Primož Roglič has mixed thought on the race, he wrote on his blog: “Life is not black and white, although my memories on this race from last year are like that. I won my first professional race here, but also lost a smile. I won one, but crashed several times. The worst was the crash in the last stage from Baku to Baku, I left a big part of my skin and couple of teeth there.”
