Domen Novak in "white"
Team Adria Mobil Cycling is fine tuning their form on stage race Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali in Italy, so they will be at 100% for the home race Grand Prix Adria Mobil. Russian Sergey Firsanov (Gazprom-RusVelo) won third stage. Our Domen Novak was tenth and is now in the white jersey of the best young rider.

Domen Novak sits in 20th place overall, but he could easily be much higher, most likely in the top ten, without bad luck one day earlier. Kristjan Fajt crashed and team lost precious seconds because of that.

Domen after the stage: “I had a good day today. Guys helped me, so I was up in the front for the whole time. I fought with everything I had in the last lap and I managed to get in the white jersey of the best rider in the under 21 group. We have a flat race on Saturday and then we finish with the hardest stage of them all. I hope I’ll manage to keep the jersey.”

We don’t expect changes in the lead on the Saturday’s flat stage. On Sunday the situation will be different, stage will have a lot of climbs.
