Domen Novak best young rider on the Tour of Croatia
Stage from Crikvenica to Učka was one of the most important parts of the Tour of Croatia, and as expected Domen Novak and Radoslav Rogina did very well. They were both in the top ten, which took them almost to the top in the overall standings. Domen Novak now wears white jersey of the best Under 23 cyclist.
Radoslav Rogina is third overall after a very difficult climb to Učka. Domen Novak is fifth. Austrian Ricardo Zoidl won the stage, but since he had a big gap from second stage he couldn’t take the overall lead. But local rider Matija Kvasina could!
Race will be decided on the team time trial from Poreč to Umag (40 km). Radoslav Rogina said that the stage is not to the likings of Adria Mobil’s team, but we know that the riders already did very good on the world championships in the past.
Race is broadcasted on Eurosport 2.
