Radoslav Rogina fifth on his home race
Croatian fans are celebrating one of the biggest successes of their riders. Matija Kvasina, member of Azerbaijan team Synergy Baku Cycling Project, won the Tour of Croatia. Adria Mobil also returns with a excellent results – two riders among top ten in the overall standings and white jersey of the best young rider.

Norvegian Sondre Holst Enger was fastest in the last stage from Sveti Martin to Zagreb. Difficult finish on the streets of Zagreb created some gaps among the field, but not big enough to create changes on the top of overall standings.

Matija Kvasina won the race and got to the biggest success of his professional career. Adria Mobil Cycling’s riders defended their positions just bellow the top. Radoslav Rogina was fifth overall, Domen Novak sixth; Domen also took a jersey of the best under 23 rider. Our team was second in the team rankings.

Team manager Boštjan Mervar after the race: “I’m very happy with what we showed today, this is the maximum of what this team with young riders can do. I’m glad that we showed our best on the hardest of all stages. Race itself was very hard, especially because of the long transfers before and after the stages.”

Domen Novak took the white jersey and again proved that he’s developing in the great cyclist for hard stage races. Domen after the race: “I’m happy to win white jersey, but that was not really my original plan for the race. I wanted to help Radoslav Rogina in the battle for the good overall result.”
