Adria Mobil into the season with three foreign riders

Adria Mobil into the season with three foreign riders
Team Adria Mobil Cycling is almost complete for 2017 season. Team will have three non-Slovenian riders, next to Radoslav Rogina two new ones – 21-years old Italian Adrea Borsko and 19-years old Serbian Dušan Rajović. Both will meet the team at the end of the month when they arrive to first winter training camp.

Andrea Borso comes from Bassana del Grappa and was racing for one of the best Italian amateur teams in Italy - Zalf Euromobil Désirée Fior; this team was proving ground to many Slovenian cyclists in the past. Dušan Rajović is from Kraljevo and was racing in Switzerland in the last season, but he’s a member of team Metalac from Kraljevo. He was mentored by ex excellent cyclist Radiša Čubrić, and he’s also the one who contributed the most to this transfer.

Andrea Borso: “I choose Adria Mobil because I needed a new team for racing in the international level. Team is one of the strongest continental teams in the world and I’m really happy I gain their trust. I expect a lot from 2017 season. I expect we will all work together, that we will all progress and that we will win a lot of races.”

Coach Radiša Čubrić: “I’m glad that Dušan Rajović a new member of Adria Mobil. He had three or four interesting offers and I said to him that he should sign for Adria. He’s still young, he not even nineteen. I work with him since he was 12-years old. He progressed a lot in this time and I’m sure he still has a lot of reserve. He was in UCI training camp in Switzerland in 2016. He’s a great sprinter and is perfect for classic races. He can show his best in the sprints of the hard races, where climbs don’t exceed length of 2-3 kilometers, but he still has to learn a lot. I hope Adria will race at least couple of Under 23 races where he can show his strength. He will work for the team, but if he gets a chance he will took it for sure. In 2016 he won two races in France and was 18th on the World champs in Doha.”

Team for 2017 (still not the complete list): Radoslav Rogina, Jure Golčer, Gašper Katrašnik, Andrea Borso, Dušan Rajović, Gorazd Per, Žiga Horvat, Žiga Grošelj and Jon Božič
