Andrea Borso Starts With 6th Place
Highly anticipated race Grand Prix Laguna unfolded today in Poreč, Croatia. For most of the pack this was the first race of the season, 24-year old Italian Andrea Toniatti (Team Colpack) was fastest ahead of another Italian Paolo Totò (Sangemini - MG.Kvis), third went to Stephan Rabitsch (Team Felbermayr - Simplon Wels). Adria Mobil’s best was Andrea Borso in sixth place.

Italian team Colpack defended the victory on the race GP Laguna Poreč. Andrea Toniatti took the race that was won by his former teammate Filippo Ganno in 2016.

Twenty riders battled for the victory in the sprint finish today, among them were also Andrea Borso and Jure Golčer. Group did a deciding escape at about half of the race, in the valley of river Mirna. This development was not particularly good for team Adria Mobil Cycling. Team had to work with other team in the chase, team wanted to bring Gašper Katrašnik to the finish sprint. Escapees were too fast today and Andrea Borso had to take responsibility and battle with the Italians that prevailed in the first group of the peloton.

Andrea was sixth, Jure Golčer was thirteen.
