adidas eyewear made sure Adria’s rider have a clear view
Eyewear is very important part of cyclist’s gear and not just a fashion statement, like somebody would like to think. Cyclists ride at high speeds and rely on their eyewear for protection against wind, bugs and debris that goes up in the air in the peloton. They are also indispensable on rainy days when you get showers from up and down. Amm Maribor, exclusive distributor for adidas eyewear is the team’s new sponsor.

Žiga Grošelj: “Since I have a strong prescription it’s very important to use high quality eyewear. I also want that the glasses fit nicely to my face. New Vario lenses adjust to the lighting conditions and make sure you always have a clear vision. adidas Zonyk is everything we need. They are confortable, light and they look cool.”

Gregor Gazvoda: “I have a lot of experiences with adidas eyewear, I was racing with them in the past. They were always as far as quality goes, and I personally think they also have amazing designs. For a cyclists it’s very important to have high quality lenses, we have to protect our eyes in the different and quickly changing conditions, at the same time we need a sharp view on the road ahead.”

Jure Golčer: “adidas glasses are very light, adjustable, they fit great and they also offer very sharp and clean view. They have filters on the lenses that adapt to the different conditions, which is very important during the race where anything can happen. I’m honored that whole Adria Mobil now uses products from Amm Maribor, this company supports me for years and makes sure I have a good view on the road.”

Team coach Boštjan Mervar: “Our riders choose model adidas eyewear Zonyk Aero. We are positively surprised, since we can adjust the angle of the lenses and frame width, they are also available in two sizes. We also love Vario lenses. I don’t know any other eyewear manufacturer that would offer all of that in one package. Riders are really happy with them and love to use them.”
