Radoslav Rogina couldn't keep up with Bahrain Merida

Hardest stage of the tour went according to expectations. Team Bahrain Merida was controlling the race from start to finish. They let some riders to escape, but never to far ahead. Whole Bahrain team was dictating pace on the climb to Učka and nobody managed to escape. On the end it was time for favorites to clash.
Spaniard Jaime Roson won the stage and took overall lead. Nobody from Adria Mobil Cycling managed to get into top ten. Closest was Radoslav Rogina in 18th place, he is now 14th overall. He didn’t say much after the race: “I was hoping that I’ll do better then on the second stage, but I didn’t. I’m not happy, despite the fact that I gave everything I had.”
Coach Boštjan Mervar: “We didn’t have much room for tactics today. It was all out race and results is what it is. Unfortunately Rogina didn’t manage to get into top ten.”
Last stage will go from Samobor to Zagreb, but the race is not decided yet. There are just two seconds between Roson and Nibali, which means we could see battle till the very end. Finish in Zagreb is very technical and the Spaniard will have to work hard to take home the jersey.
